| | Everything felt like a dream, and a long one, and it still continues. Start counting from Dec 6th after work. Had taken my time passing everything to my co-workers, cleaned my desk and grabbed my last-min-received laptop, rushed home and started packing. I did stick with my original plan and did not sleep. I spent my night packing and finishing my knitting project. Took my mom's advise and brought back a whole suitcase with winter clothes-which found out later I needed none of them during the time I was there... Dec 7th 7:00am picked up S and rushed into MSP, right on time for my flight...Good bye MN and here I come, HK! Plane was delayed from MSP to Detorit, delayed again from Detorit to Tokyo, spending the whole time text messaging and phoning with friends. worried about I wasn't able to catch the flgith from Tokyo to HK, cuz I only got 50 mins laid over...anyhow, flight took off one and a half hour after when it was supposed to. lucky arrive Tokyo and ran over the whole airport and got on my final plane to HK. The attendent had moved my seat twice and made sure I was right behind the empty business class-pointless. Dec 8th Got off at 11pm HK time and gone through customs and baggae claim-long wait. Well, after 5 yrs not seeing my aunt, she didn't recognized me when I walked out, so I put my US credit card into the pay phone and who knows how much it will charge me...Finally met up with them in fron of McD-looked so much better than McD in the US, and of course I didn't get anything, cuz u know food in HK is not only limited to McD! Dec 9th, Weather was so nice, I started doubting the useness of those winter clothes. Home (not home home)around 1AM, was too tired to figured out how come I had lost a day on the 23 hrs flight. but i was too hungry to sleep, hee hee...so in the following 6 hrs I had 3 meals. Cought up with some work emails and went to bed around 4. Got up at 8, big day big day! My first official date back to HK!! Met up with some relatives at MK-the point is to make sure I have more money to spend...kakakaka...Yum Cha is soo good, but didn't had a lot. During Yum Cha time, I asked the waiter, "Can I have a glass of ice water?" He went like "What? We don't have that." R u kidding me? no ice water? Then I had figured out, u have to carry ur own water(if u want cool ones), and nakins/kleenex when u go out in HK. Done with Yum Cha and planned to meet up with Ber at CWB, they worried about me getting lost so they sent me to TimeSqure...=.= Met Ber, shopped around, didn't spend like crazy cuz I know I had tons of time, and it was only the first day!! Too many "zi yao heng", created a long line waiting in front of Gucci at Sogo, no mood to wait, went to Gucci at Lee Garden instead(which just two blocks away), no lines, no "zi yao heng", nice nice! AND~~30% off for selective items!!!!! Gucci wor~~~30% off wor~~~how often will that happen in US?! walked around, didn't find things I like, that's ok la, I still have time ma...hahahaha~~~Dinner with Ber and Godfather and some friends, Francis was planning to come, but when he heard we were going to have hot pot jau back out jor. NVM la...still fun. Ber's friend called for MJ after? not for me la...too tired from shopping around and jetlagging. Conclude: no car is so charm! when u shop in HK, u definitely need a car to drop off some bags when u reach a limit, otherwise, it really hurts ur feelings when u cant buy/carry anymore. A lot of walking, good excercise for lazy me. Off to GZ the next day, nervous tim. |
